Mira currently stands at 14.2HH and I
feel she will finish out just under
15HH. She has much more growing to do
she was born a month early and spent
three weeks at Wisconsin Equine Clinic
and has been a late bloomer.. She has
made a wonderful recovery but is on the
small side currently and is sweet as can
be. Both sire and dam did not finish
growing till after 5 and considered
small two year olds. She loves attention
and is one of the first to meet you at
the gate or winny to tell you she is on
her way. She leads, loads, ties, stands
for saddling and bitting; smiles and
learning to several other “tricks”. She
has been ponied since weaning and is
traffic and trail safe and seen many
things. I have worked with her using
tarps, cans, bottles, plastic or any
other “scary” thing I could find. I have
sat on Mira once but feel she has some
growing she needs to do before she
should be enjoyed. I have led her around
since weaning with my son on her and she
has always been a good girl. She is good
for vet/farrier work and has good ground
manners.
The free lease consists
of (time frame to be discussed with
potential lessee) you can have use of
Mira at your home or mine (my home would
be $50 a month and include one free
lesson a week). There are terms that
would apply to her care, upkeep, and so
on. I will do a home check to make sure
that she will have a safe property to be
on. I will also require a vet reference.
