I love this horse and I wouldn't sell
him if I didn't need to. He is like a
dog to me. He comes when I call him and
nuzzles his nose on me. He is sweet and
beautiful.
He is not as easy to
ride, however. He is a good mover and
holds himself together well. But when I
first get on him in a ring, he needs to
trot (or better cater) for a few laps
before he will calm himself down to trot
and work with me at a slow
pace.
He used to be a horse at a
trail riding stable, and has had his
mouth pulled on too many times, so he
struggles with the reins but his sides
are very sensitive and needs a light
touch to move forward. You have to get
used to him (and him you) but he really
is a good horse who just needs the right
person to work with him.
I only
have these faded pictures of him right
now because my computer is down, but if
you go on the Bridle Hill website:
www.bridlehillfarm.com and look at the
video ad on the home page for WWD
(women's wear daily) you will see a
picture of him in the first few seconds
of the video.
