8 years old. walk~trot~canter. Smooth
extended trot, not choppy. Easy
transitions. Has been worked on the flat
and cross rails. Very sweet personality,
easy ground manners, stands well for
farrier, vet and in crossties to be
groomed and saddled. You do need treats
to catch her in an open field. I use her
in my lesson program she rides in a
twisted snaffle or Kimberwick depending
on the child that rides her. I have used
grass reins on her in the past if she
gets a little bratty and wants to put
her head down. Very Cute pony with lots
of expression in the show ring. Always
top ribbons walk trot. She had minor
laminitis in 2008 (it was caught early)
I do have x-rays to prove no damage was
done less that 5% rotation. I keep front
shoes on her and barefoot in back. She’s
completely sound. Her right eye was
removed due to carcinoma. She does have
a prosthetic in and you can not tell
unless you are close up to her. Losing
her eye has no effect on her. She would
require a grazing muzzle in a large
pasture. I keep her on 1 acre paddock
and feed hay only and she’s fine. Very
easy keeper. Gets along well with other
horses I would say she is low on the
pecking order. She’s wonderful at horse
shows with the kids hanging all over
her, trailers nicely. I would not put a
raw beginner on her (unless it's lead
line) she needs a rider that knows the
basics. She’s not a lazy pony. She has
been trail ridden with no problems.
