Dillon's General L is out of Marshall
Dillan and Jamie's Lady Ann. He is a
strong and steady mount, 18 yrs of age;
very willing and sure footed. He loves
to be taken out. He was used in field
trials across the country before we
aquired him. We have used him for
pleasure and trail riding for which he
is also very well suited.
Dillon
has a very natural gait. His enthusiasm
and agility is that of a much younger
horse.
He is a sorrell with blaze a
rear hind stocking, about 15'1 hands
tall. He was previously kept shoed but
we have been using him barefoot. He has
great feet and does very well with his
barefoot trims. He has no health issues
or physical handicaps. He is 100% fit.
Current on all vaccines and regularly
trimmed. AGHA registration and microchip
ID.
He loves water and to be bathed,
brushed, and trimmed. We ride him with
an aussie saddle which is currently for
sale as well due to the fact that it was
bought only for him and does not fit our
other horses.
We are letting Dillon
go only becuase our other horses
(Quarter horses)cannot keep up with him
on the trail without jogging along or
holding Dillon back.... it makes it hard
to "ride together" and visit. I would
not recommend Dillon for a beginner but
an intermediate rider would be fine.
This is only becuase he likes to step
out and moves very quickly. He is not
spooky, does not bite, kick, buck....
has NO bad habits. He does well riding
with other horses and can be taken out
alone (not barn/buddy sour) Stands to be
mounted LOVES to get in the trailer....
He just wants to go somewere!
