Bear was rescued from a family that
medically could no longer care for him.
After only 7 short months of owning him
the family allowed Bear to drop to a
weight well below a healthy level. Poor
Bear looked like a walking skeleton.
After a health exam done by our local
vet, current shots and de-worming, we
are excited to say Bear has gained
nearly 200#'s and is on his way to
recovery. We are looking for a long
term home with a educated family. Bear
has been used by youth riders on trails
but would make a super youth 4H
prospect! He's got a smooth trot and
lope. He moves very flat kneed and could
be your youths next pleasure champion!
Bear doesn't neck rein, but follows his
head around very quietly. He backs
quietly, ez to saddle and bridle. Loads
good in a two horse and has a excellent
personallity! I have photos of his sire
available! My 11 year old has been
riding Bear the past 2 days and gets
