Our family is offering for sale our 14.2
hand, 11-year-old registered solid black
breeding stock Pinto mare, Precious.
She has been shown successfully in
Western and English Pleasure/Equitation,
and the gymkhana events in the Goodhue
County Saddle Club Association and 4-H
by all levels of riders, but we are
suggesting an advanced beginner at the
least. Wonderful English movement, very
willing and VERY smart. She loves to
trail ride and will go wherever you
point her, including through water,
dependably. Has been bred in the past
and we still own the very correct,
extremely well minded and friendly colt
that she produced. She is a fantastic
mother – even chased a heifer away from
her newborn baby to clean it! We have
owned her since she was a 3-year-old.
Our kids have moved onto our Quarter
Horses, and she doesn’t get the
attention that she wants. She is very
people oriented and is the first horse
to greet you. Loads, clips, bathes,
stands for farrier. She has great feet,
and we have never shoed her, has always
been sound. She is definitely the Alpha
mare in the herd, but very, very
respectful of people. To a good home
