How we got him: I was looking for a
horse for my mom because her current
horse (at the time) was a mean mare and
we couldn't trust the mare with my
little brothers. So I regularly checked
out the online classifieds for the Twin
Cities' paper and I found his ad, we
went to see him twice, we rode him and
he just fit perfectly into what we
needed and wanted and a SAFE horse for
my little brothers to be around =)
Well now I have to take care of
3 horses on my own. It's hard and I have
never had the time to ride all 3 of
them, especially Rio because he's my
mom's horse (being a mom, she never has
time to ride, you know how it goes) and
so we have decided that since he is the
youngest, has the most POTENTIAL (and
boy, does this horse have potential, but
I'll talk about that later), and is the
BEST horse on the ground. He has energy
but yet always knows when to use it, he
stops playing with the other horses
immediately when I walk into the
pasture, now that i think about it, he's
never, ever, even threatened slightly
that he was going to kick or bite, he's
PROFESSIONALLY TRAINED (that's why he
has so much potential!!), and registered
AQHA horse.
RIO COULD GO: western
pleasure, horsemanship, reining, the
prof. trainer 'heeled' calves before we
got him so he ropes, and so much more.
Man, I see him out in that pasture,
never being ridden, and it hurts because
he has so much potential.
Here's a
horse that has great potential... he
just needs a rider to get him
there!!!
Please just email me if
you have any questions or want to see
pictures of Rio.
