GENERATOR'S MG is a
magnificient - gorgeous gelding with a
VERY affectionate, sweet, humble, calm,
quiet, well-behaved personality! He
has "The Best Manners" both ground and
under saddle! He is truly one of the
"SMOOTHEST" horses we have ever
owned!
You can see on his
Pedigree listed, that he has EXCEPTIONAL
BLOODLINES being sired by
GEN'S MAJOR
GENERAL - with PRIDE'S GENERATOR top and
bottom! MG is Registered Racking...and
when he was young --his former owner
held back his walking papers....I know
for sure he is Registered Walking --His
papered walking name is "The General's
Motor"-Reg. #979863 -- Reg. 12-3-97.
The family that we got him from....said
that years back....the walking papers
were never passed on with MG - for
whatever reason --
no one knows! I
tried to contact that owner and was
unable to do so.......but his bloodlines
are correct as can be confirmed by the
TWH Association's Registration
Office.
MG is so gentle and he
loves Children! We have had Children
around him here grooming, petting,
feeding, and just hanging around MG.
They love him! And he loves the
attention they all give to
him!
We have owned MG and our
other beautiful, black mare- Gen's
Cotton and Lace (Sold -June, 2009)- for
a long time! Due to our health issues,
we made the difficult decision to sell
both of them to cut down on our keepers.
We just do not have the time they
deserve..... They have both been pets
to our family and to those who have
visited our stables!
I have
photos of my nephew and granddaughter
when they were 3 and 4
---tip-toeing....reaching up to pet MG.
The top of his stall was completely
open....and he would always hang his
head over and down
"as much as
possible!".....stretching!!! - so the
smaller children could reach him! And
he would do that until they walked away!
He is truly the favorite of
children!!
MG will STAND TO MOUNT
AND - HE STOPS ON VOICE COMMAND!!! He
will stand in the crossties very still
and quiet. You don't have to worry
about MG stepping on a child or toddler.
He does not move in the crossies. MG
is 12 years old.....so he has seen it
all.....He was taught the very best of
manners, and he realizes when a small
child is around!
MG is SO EASY to
do ALL THINGS with! He LOVES his
baths!!He will walk right on a horse
trailer, easy to load, haul, shoe, and
clips the very best!
There are
smooth riding horses and then there are
EXCEPTIONALLY SMOOTH riding
horses.....and MG is truly just that!
You will love his ride! He is Very
affectioate....you will fall in love
with him in just five minutes of being
with him! That is what happened to me!
I had no intention of purchasing a
horse when I saw MG in Alabama that
year~! I could not come home without
him! He has the sweetest, big, most
beautiful - humble eyes that will melt
your heart! And he is SAFE!
MG
is not afraid of traffic, barking dogs,
sirens, fireworks, heavy equipment,
creeks, WHATEVER! MG has seen it all!
Believe me, he has been tested with many
things while here! We have so enjoyed
him!!
His gaits are So
Graceful....and he has beautiful
confirmation! The talent that you see
in the videos is MG all the time! It is
all natural talent.....his head set is
consistent the entire time he is in a
bridle.
You don't have to make MG do
anything!!! He listens to your
voice...and he obeys!
MG has been
mostly ridden by women the past few
years......and at one time, a six year
old little girl did show him! He is
that safe! He will walk at a real slow
walk with no hesitation anytime you
want! Cluck to him and he goes into his
smooth gait....cluck again...and he will
go a faster gait - but he will come
right back down to a slow walk "with NO
hesitation".
I have him marked
"Great For Kids"...but he is 15.1 and I
like smaller horses for smaller
children! They don't have so far to
fall! You can lead MG around with
smaller children..... - The youngest
age I would put on MG and allow them to
ride alone would
be 7 years and
up.....and If they are 7 or 8--they need
to be experienced in riding due to his
size. But any age child is safe to
stand beside him ---to pet and
groom!
We were blessed to find
Cotton & Lace a wonderful home in
Versailles, Ky. - They have two small
children and they love "Lacy" as they
call her! It is really important that
we do the same for MG.....We have had
them both a very long time and they have
been loved dearly!
