I bought Copper in April 2006. He is a
chestnut gelding that stands 16H tall.
He knew the basics and had not been
ridden away from his home much. I took
him on difficult trails right from the
start. In 2007 a family friend wanted to
use him for High School Rodeo. So, I had
him trained for barrels. He is fast and
has earned a little money. In 2008 I
decided to try cattle sorting, so I had
him trained for that. He would earn more
money if I was a better rider! Now, he
is too much horse for me. I am a fairly
timid rider who has over trained her
horse and I am only 5’ & 105 lbs. He is
not a crazy barrel horse, but he can
move fast! Too fast for me. He has been
camping in Shawnee many times, as it is
what I most enjoy. He has a couple of
bald spots on his face (not injuries). I
can get pics if you want. Would only
matter in a halter class. Call for
questions, Cindy (217) 460-1100. Email
me for more video & more pics.
