Rose is 14 HH and very gentle. She has
been there done that kind of horse. I
have had her in parades, trail camping
and horse shows. She rides out alone or
with others.
Nice smooth gait. My
grandkids have rode her since they have
been very young. She just is a peach of
a horse. Has good ground
manners.
Will even shake her head
"Yes" for her treat.
She has been my
riding horse for 7 years. There is "NO"
buck or rear in this mare.
A year
ago Feb she injured herself from a slip
and now has some arthrits set in her
left hind quarter. I keep her on MSM now
daily thats mixed with a handful of
grain. Thats all the grain she needs or
she gets to fat.
I cant ask her to
carry me any longer as I am a heavier
rider. The kids do well on her. She may
start out stiff but works out of it and
then head is up with ears perked and she
is happy to be out.
My adult
neighbor has rode her with no problems
as well.
If you want a horse for a
first time rider then she would fit you
well. It breaks my heart to part with my
beloved Rose but I have to love her
enough to let her go where she can be
used. She gets stiff standing around so
much. The grandkids arent here enough to
keep her going. I think its better for
her to stay moving under saddle.
I am
only asking $400 for this nice
mare.
She would work for a light
weight adult as well.
