This is the kind of pony that is hard to
find. She is very quiet and easy going.
Even when she has encountered new
things, she calmly takes a look, then
moves on. She has been around tractors,
dogs, loud children w/bouncing balls,
deer on the trail, turkeys flying out of
the bushes. Nothing bothers
her.
She rides both western and
english. Dottie is a pretty pinto that
will get you or your child noticed. A
child can handle her on the ground or in
the saddle with ease. Recently, A
friend's 8 yo daughter rode Dottie. This
child had become afraid of horses due to
an accident. I let her take Dottie trail
riding knowing that she would keep the
little girl safe. Dottie was true to her
nature and took such good care of the
child that her fear is gone and she is
ready to go ride again. She is a real
doll and a rare find! If you have a new
rider or are a
little timid, this is
a great pony for you. She is a real
confidence builder....I have started
teaching Dottie to drive. She took right
to it with her easy going nature.
