Cynder is a great mare, about 15.3
hands. She's a dapple, bay. She's 9
years old. I have taken her to a few
WSCA shows in the past couple summers.
She can be stubborn and moody, so she
requires an experienced rider who is
willing to work with her. I'm selling
her because i don't have the time that
she deserves to be worked with. When I
first got her I thought she was fully
trained but that wasn't the case. She
has calmed down a lot over the past two
years. She needs a rider who is
confident and can train her properly.
She'll test you so you need to be an
aggressive rider, but not harsh. She has
definitely got speed and her lope is
like a rocking horse. She has the
potential to become an excellent horse
with the right rider. She's a sweetheart
once she warms up to you. She's very
easy to catch, granted she won't come to
you when you call her, but she won't run
off when you try to put the halter on. I
believe she stands well for the farrier,
I haven't been there when she has gotten
her hooves done. I have used spurs on
her, she responds well to them. She does
not know the leg cues. But with some
training, that could change. She has the
potential to do anything, she is a very
fast learner. She needs to be sedated to
get her coggins. She doesn't trailer
very well. She can't do tie stalls.
Baths you have to start out slow. She is
really spooky, so she should live
somewhere where she can be introduced to
everything. She needs someone like I
said before who is patient and has a lot
of experience with horses. A lot of her
faults can be worked out of her with
time and training. Something I wish I
had. When I got her I thought I had
enough experience to train her out of
said things but it turns out...........I
don't have that knowledge. GOOD HOME
ONLY! I will not sell to anyone who I
believe will treat her badly. Call me or
send me an email if you have any further
questions. Or if you wan a
picture/video.
