Myia's first foal was conceived
with one live breeding and I watched her
foal in mid-morning on her due date.
She delivered the foal easily and had so
much milk she looked like a dairy cow!
Cared well for her foal and weaned
easily. She ties, stands for farrier and
clipping from one year of training with
Eitan Beth-Halachmy. Myia was never
shown due to my lack of interest. She
gets along with other horses and can be
turned out alone or in a herd.
Myia had an injury to a hind leg
which ended her riding/driving career
but carries a foal fine. When Myia was
ridden, she had a fluid, soft Western
Pleasure jog like her sire but could
extend beautifully. Myia is short
backed and could roll back so fast she
could lose her rider. She out produced
herself with a gorgeous sport horse bred
yearling filly who is already taller
than Myia. We are riders, not breeders,
and feel that Myia should be placed with
someone who can take advantage of her
bloodlines as a broodmare.
