Chico, at 15.1hh and 15 years, has been
the well loved partner for a rider with
disabilities whose focus over the past
three years has been Eventing and Para
Dressage. He is Canadian National
Champion (2007 & 2008) for the
Sea-to-Sea Para Dressage Competition.
He has shown in dressage at training
level scoring in the mid to high 60's
each time and earning 2007 Reserve
Champion for Training Level 1 at year
end. At the 2009 BC Disability Games he
won his owner 2 gold and 2 bronze
medals. He has shown in both Starter
and Pre-Entry placing as high as 4th.
He has also successfully ribboned at
A-rated H/J shows in both rings at 2'6"
and 2'9", with scope to go higher.
Chico has his lead changes, has been
trail ridden extensively including into
lakes, across bridges and streams,
bathes, clips, trailers easily, and
stands for the farrier. He has no
health issues and no
vices.
Despite their success,
Chico's owner requires a quieter ride to
match her skills. Asking $9,800 but an
exceptional home is the priority so
