Coco is free to a good home because he
will make a great companion horse. He
loves children and people, (as you can
see in the video) and even comes to his
name. Super sweet horse! However, he
can no longer be ridden and I can only
keep ridable horses on my ranch. I
recently gave him to a neighbor, but his
gelding doesn't like other geldings, and
overpowers him... so it's just not fair
to Coco.
I had Coco shipped from
Cookville, Tennessee, about a year and a
half ago. Unfortunately, the seller
misrepresented him to me and said that a
woman can ride him. He told me that a
very heavy man used to ride him on
cement, which caused enlarged hocks.
Anyway, I believe his hocks have an
overload of calcium deposits, which
causes him pain. I've recently
discovered that there is a lot of
calcium in the hay due to the hay
shortage.
The video was taken in
October of 2007 in Tennessee by the
person I bought him from. You can see
how he is with kids and how calm and
comfortable he is around his family. He
lived with them for several years from
what I understand.
I don't want
to cause him pain, so I do not ride him.
We only have enough room on our ranch
for ridable horses, so we are looking
for a good home for Coco to be a part of
the family as a companion
horse.
The person that has him
told me that he couldn't keep him, and
that if I don't take him back that he
should be put to sleep... so I need to
find another home for him as soon as
possible.
Please call Dean to
find out more details on Coco at (719)

I'll look forward to
hearing from you,
Suzanne
