NEW UPDATE ON "TEX"
I have been
getting Tex back into shape, we have
been doing the pattern slowly and have
been doing some trail riding. I know he
has it in him to take the pause button
off his barrel racing career. Or he's an
awesome trail horse. Coggins were pulled
July 28 so I got them back and they are
negative.
I baught "Tex" in July of
2002. I needed a horse to finish out the
barrel racing season on. He did great.
His best times were high 2D to low 3D.
We made it to world but unfortunetly
couldn't make the trip. Since then I
have used him for trail riding,
swimming, he rides safe along side the
road. We live next to the suncoast and
traffic doesn't bother him at all. He
doesn't spook easily. I have taken him
camping, long mile trail rides. I did
NBHA ( National Barrel Horse
Association) with Tex for a few years so
he is used to traveling and standing by
the trailer for all day
events.
He loads by just asking
him to load up and point him in the
direction, bathes, clips (ears, whiskers
and all) Stands well for a ferrier.
I have a lot of trust into this
horse, I can ride him bareback with a
halter and lead with no problem but when
its time to work he is
ready.
GOOD HOME ONLY.
