Tico, the barn name for this young
Quarter Horse gelding, was recently
evaluated for his ability, his
intelligence, and his honesty, and he
passed with flying colors. He has had
more than a year of training, which
started when he was four. His training,
thus far, has included trail riding,
some dressage, and jumping. He has
shown a lot of ability with jumping and
seems to enjoy it. He covers the course
smoothly and approaches each jump
without hesitation. He is very honest,
so safe for a child. He is a pretty
mover, collects nicely, and can do
flying lead changes. Tico is very
responsive, willing, athletic, and shows
a lot of endurance. He has great
conformation and very sound hooves. He
loads and clips easily, and he has been
shown very successfully. He recently
placed first in a large working hunter
class, competing against thoroughbreds.
He has a sweet disposition and has taken
many new things in stride. He would
make a great hunter or eventer for an
intermediate to experienced young rider.
