Our barn name for this big guy is Red.
He has been used for both English and
Western riding lessons for kids and
adults, and he has been used on our
hilly wooded trail rides with stream
crossings. Red has been safe for
beginning riders and is very easy going.
Although he is tall, he is not high in
the pecking order of our herd. His only
bad habit is some cribbing. He is easy
to handle on the ground, as well as in
the saddle, and he is an easy loader.
We have taken Red to the horse shows,
and he has placed first for some of the
kids in large Walk-Trot classes. Due to
the current state of the economy, we
need to drastically reduce the size of
our herd, so we must sell some very good
