I have a 9yr. old Registered Sorrel
Quarter Horse gelding "Dew" for sale.
He stands about 15-15.1 hands tall with
a blaze face and a right hind sock. Dew
is extremely stout and very atheletic.
He neck reins and works very well off of
leg pressure. Dew has been on many many
trail redes and can ride in the front,
back or middle of the group. We team
penned on him as a 4-5 yr. old as a
novice. He really likes a cow. Dew
will back up on command and side pass
both directions. I've even thrown a
rope off of him although I'm in no way a
roper. He stands well for the farrier,
vet, clip or bath and to be mounted.
Dew has a show ring jog and a rocking
chair lope. He is a great horse to
ride. I bought him as a 2 yr. old in
Shawnee, OK. I trained him and have
been riding him ever since. I'm by no
means a reiner, but that's the
discipline I like, therefore I have
worked with him as a reining horse. He
has a great stop and will turn back on
his hocks. Dew will spin both ways
(moderate speed) and never lift his back
foot. He's never missed a ride I've
been on and never had to leave him
behind. He is truly a great horse to
ride. I believe a lot of the reason he
is so atheletic and loves a cow the way
he does is his breeding. You can trace
this pedrigree back to a lot of
foundation blood. Leo, King, Doc Bar,
Poco. He is extremely smart and wants
to please. I'm selling him because I
have just recently bought a 3 yr. old
and need to put as much time on her as
possible. Dew is too good a horse and
loves to ride too much to stay in the
pasture.
