Cairo is an sweet, well mannered horse.
Loads well in the trailer. Gentle in the
pen and pasture. He has been started
with natural horsemanship training, he's
very responsive and a willing learner.
Responds well to ground work exercises -
leading, longeing, flexing under halter,
backing on command, reverse longing.
Stands well for grooming. Stands quietly
for saddling and mounting. You can mount
and dismount anywhere and at any time. I
ride Cairo with a gentle egg-butt
snaffle, he respondes quickly to rein
pressure for turning and stopping. While
riding you can touch him anywhere. He
has the basics down well, quiet around
traffic and dogs. He does shy at times
but nothing major. I would call him a
beginners horse execpt for his little
shys. I have done alot of trail riding
with him. He does great alone or in
groups. He jumps well over logs,
streams, or anything else asked of
him.
