Lexi is a horsewoman's horse. Her sire
and dam are two of the most fun, most
responsive trail horses of any breed,
and she gives every indication of being
exactly the same. If you love the
responsiveness of a horse that can move
lightly off your seat and leg, is light
in the bridle, and truly enjoys moving
out, she may be the one for you.
Of course, she's only a
yearling, and these things take time and
proper training.
Her sire is the
single most fun horse I've ever ridden
or owned. He has a great
runwalk/foxtrot, and his canter will
ruin you for all other horses! His
behavior is better than most geldings or
mares, and anyone from a rank beginner
to an experienced horseman appreciate
his responsiveness and willingness
either in the arena or trail.
Her dam is a big bodied mare who
has one of the fastest saddle racks I've
ridden (Not a speed rack with the high
action that can't last, this is a flat
moving trail-type rack that covers
ground FAST and she can do all day
long). Her canter is also superior, but
her saddle rack is nearly as fast. She
carries some older TWH bloodlines that
aren't seen as much anymore.
Lexi
knows everything a yearling should know.
She ties, leads, loads, and knows
"walk", and "whoa" on a longe line. She
stands for the farrier, and has had
regular worming, vaccines, and proper
nutrition. She has an extremely long
mane and forelock, like her sire, and
will be a very striking, beautiful mare
when mature. She will mature around 15h
and be more stocky than your average
TWH.
She has not had any idiot
rednecks sitting on her, or any crazy
things you often see people do with
young horses.
Lexi is a very
energetic, and very smart filly. She is
recommended for people who enjoy the
Arabian/TB type but want a smooth gaited
horse. She appears to have a good
running walk, foxtrot, and rack.
My interest is only in her
getting a good home. If she were a colt,
I'd never sell her, but having one filly
amongst a group of colts/geldings is not
the most peaceful setting!
I
would consider a trade for a registered
TWH, Arab, or half-arab colt/gelding of
a similar age.
