Classy" is a gorgeous 8 year old
dark buckskin AQHA mare that is an
excellent trail horse, and works cows.
She is a smaller compact mare, standing
at 14.1 hands. She has good correct
confirmation, is nicely muscled (not
bulky), has good bone, and excellent
feet (no need for shoes). In the photos,
I am 5' 7" tall to give you an idea of
her size. This horse is a lot of fun.
She is easy to handle both on the ground
and in the saddle. She is great with
shots, wormer, farrier, etc. She is up
to date on all vacs, neg. coggins,
strangles vac, and W. Nile. She is not
for a beginner, as she is a smart girl
and will test her rider to see what they
know, but anyone with some experience
and confidence would get along great
with her. Once she knows you mean
business, she will do anything for you.
She will get up and go when you want,
she is not a dead head, but settles
right down again, not a hot horse. She
can really walk out, and has no trouble
keeping up with the "big" horses. None
of that trotting to keep up stuff. She
has been on some challenging trails, and
handles them with confidence. We are not
passive riders, so she has gone through
just about everything. She has also been
used on a friends ranch moving cows,
etc. I have thrown a rope off of her,
and dragged logs, barrels, etc. but have
not hooked up with a steer as of yet.
She will really push a cow if you want,
no fear at all. She is pastured with
geldings and mares, and is a neutral
type of horse, doesn't look for trouble
in the herd, but is no scaredy cat
