Teqi is a 10 y/o flea bitten grey
tobiano Pintabian mare. We rescued her a
few months ago from a very sad
situation. She has been a pet her whole
life and had not had much hands on
contact until we got her. Her hooves
were badly overgrown, but fixable, and
she was a little thin (but nothing
horrible). We got her home and sent her
to our trainer a week later. She has
since had her hooves trimmed up and 60
days training (everything! Extensive
ground work and saddle work). She is
green broke to ride now and is coming
along nicely. She can be a little spooky
and unsure sometimes, so she will need a
confident handler to keep her up on her
work. She is very smart and willing and
will make someone an excellent horse
once she has more training under her
belt.
