Bahara Thea
(pronounced “Taya”) is a 6-year-old
Appendix mare. She stands at 15.2hh and
is a beautiful chestnut red/brown with a
long, naturally thick tail and thick
main. She has 2 white socks on her back
feet, a white spot on the inside of her
left knee and a very unique blaze on her
face.
Bahara has been showing
Hunter/Jumper for 2 years. She is
currently competing at 2’6” and
schooling 2’9” to 3’. In 2 years, she
has never failed to place in a show. She
took 1st place in Hunter Hack at her
most recent show. At that same show, she
won grand champion of the 2’ division
(with a younger rider), 1st place out of
12 horses in English Pleasure (also a
younger rider. With the same rider, she
place 1st out of 22 horses at a
different show). Bahara has also been
eventing for 1 ½ years. She has been
doing dressage for about 9 months and is
coming along very well.
Bahara
would make a perfect children’s
Hunter/Jumper mare. She excels in that
division and will take any child or
young adult very far. She is not spooky
at anything and has never kicked or
bitten anyone since I’ve had her. She’s
a favorite at our barn with her “Love
Me” personality. She gives hugs! I can’t
say enough good things about her. She
has no vices, stands for the ferrier and
for clipping, she doesn’t crip, weave or
chew. She loves water and has no fear on
trails. She is the most solid horse you
will ride. This is very important in the
Hunter ring and in Equitation!
