Magic to the Max is a NICE, BIG and
THICK walking horse. Perfect for the big
and tall rider. He has a big motor and
loves nothing more than to go all day on
the trails. He’s got a smooth running
walk and a super FAST racking gait. When
my husband rides him on trails, he
leaves my mare in the dust. He can be in
the back or the front, but because he’s
so fast, he’s usually the one in the
front.
This gelding is very well
mannered and loves to please. Great
ground manners. Stands for the farrier
and doesn’t have to be tied. I can
literally pick his feet up in the
pasture and start trimming, and he
stands there with absolutely no
fuss.
Has been trail ridden
extensively. Will cross creeks, ditches
and logs of any size. Gets along great
with both mares and geldings. He would
be great for an intermediate and
confident rider. Like many walking
horses he can be a little nervous about
new situations. But after a little
while, he settles down to do his
job.
He backs with just a light
pressure of the reins and a verbal
command. He neck reins very well at a
walk and running walk.
We took
him to a show last year, and placed in
every one of his classes. I do have
video of him competing.
He has
good, solid feet, and is currently
barefoot and does very well on the
trails.
Good health. Never
founderd. Never been sick. Never
coliced. No lameness issues, ever. Easy
keeper. He’s out on 23 acres 24/7 and
does really well. I feed him a handfull
of Triple Crown Lite twice a day. Loads
and trailers well. Does not bite, kick,
buck, rear and is not barn sour. He will
get nervous riding by himself, and is
much better when ridden with a horse
around our pasture. But when we’ve taken
him out on trail rides, hubby has ridden
past me and dissappeard down the trail
without a lick of problem. I can do the
same on my mare, and he doesn’t bat an
eye, just keeps on gaiting and going
where you point him. He’s much more
confident out on the trail than riding
by himself at our pasture.
If
you’re looking for a BIG and good
looking walking horse who can take you
through the trails all day long, and
have a blast doing it. This is the horse
for you.
