Again, we have been lucky enough to
produce a blue roan filly. She has grown
even more than we anticipated and feel
that she has the opportunity to be a
great riding mare or an asset to any
breeding program. After only 7 rides she
was ridden at the Red Cross Trail Ride
on May 24th, and did exceptionally well.
Poco has been taken to 3 Cattle
Sortings and accepted it with ease and
enjoyed the work. She has now had over
30 rides and is being ridden
consistently inside the arena and
outside on the trail. Poco has a quiet
temperment so should get along with a
wide variety of riders. Poco was taken
to the Ya Ha Tinda for 2 weeks, and
accepted all of the new situations well.
She went across rivers, through the
bush, and could be ridden anywhere in
the group without any problems.
