I just got this flashy paint mare. I
would rate her as a "second" pony for
the older kid who knows how to ride or
for a child who has a knowledgable
parent who can finish this pony out.
She is very sweet but she needs a little
more fine tuning before I would
recommend her as a "first" pony for
kids. For instance: I believe I gave
her her first bath and at first she was
a little gittery. But by the time I got
to her belly, she had calmed down. Her
second bath was much improved. I think
she learns quickly and finishing her out
will not take very long. She is fine to
be ridden at a walk & trot, with or
without a saddle and bridle. Good at
loading up into the trailer. She needs
work on clipping, bathing, and picking
up her feet. However, she was good for
my shoer. She has no blemishes on her.
She would make a great show pony for 4-H
or other shows!
