Mack is a 13HH 12 year old poa gelding.
We bought him for trail riding with the
grandkids and he is to much for them.
Our grandkids range in age from 4 to 8.
Mack is a fast walker and is out ahead
of our quarter horses and this makes the
kids to nervous. He would be better
suited for an experienced confident
older child or small adult. We were
told he is broke to drive, but have
never hooked him up. My ferrier
believes he may have been Amish broke to
drive as he was at one time shod on all
4. He is now barefoot. Never foundered
and is an easy keeper. I believe he may
make a great 4H pony with training.
Would consider trading for a smaller,
slower, outgrown (11 to 12HH) pony.
