Cobalt is a yearling stallion sired by
Maiko 373.
Maiko completed his
stallion test in 2000 and is already
permanently approved on offspring. He
entered Grand Prix Level Dressage in
Europe during 2005. He is a drop dead
gorgeous First Premium Ster approved
stallion and is an excellent example of
the FPS/FHANA desired sport horse
appearance.
Cobalt is one of the
nicest young friesian stallions we have
ever offered, combining athleticism,
talent for dressage, and an unbelievable
pedigree with the BEST approved
stallions that are competing at the
highest levels of dressage, as his sire
and dam’s sire.
Cobalt’s dam’s
sire is the unbelievably talented Ielke
382, currently competing at Grand Prix
Level in Europe with Esther Liano.
Ielke is a Nykle 309 X Tsjalling
235 . He is a TALL 16.2 hands, from
Stam 28. Ielke 382 is one big success
story:
- Friesian champion Z1
dressage
- Fourth place at the Levade
(Dutch Championships)
- Friesian
champion Z2
- Best-going saddle horse
at the main show
- Dutch champion
Friesian breed.
and Ielke 382
has currently reached Grand Prix
level!!

was made at 23th of September 2006 at

Ielke
382 is ALSO permanently approved on his
offspring. Ielke 382 is a HUGE and
popular favorite at dressage shows in
Europe.

This nice
stallion is a WOW! He has a lovely
character and is very easy to handle.
He will be an exceptional sport horse.
Cobalt has a long slender neck and long
legs. His gaits are free and easy. He
has a kind expression and a pleasant
personality. And this boy is
REASONABLY priced!
This is a BIG
boy--and he is only a yearling:)....
meaning, Cobalt is gong to be one TALL
stallion.
He has the most
precious chiseled face and head. Cobalt
literally floats when he trots. Check
out the pictures where NO feet are
touching the ground. He is fun and
there is never a dull moment with him.
He is very much the character. He
thinks he is mighty, and he
IS.
Cobalt is easy to handle and
will be the type of horse that will
like to work. He would be an excellent
high school horse, easy to trick train,
because of his intelligence. He has
athletic with nice movements. Cobalt
already has quite a bit of mane for his
age, and just look at those poodle like
feathers.
And he is from the
highly desirable stam line 44, a VERY
productive line that has produced quite
a few of the best approved stallions
ever...
