Snoopy is as easy going as horses come.
He has the best nature of any horse we
have owned. He would be super for a
beginner or advanced rider who wants an
easy going trustworthy horse for fun and
pleasure riding. He has carried a flag
in the local county fair and does not
spook easily. On the trail or in the
pasture, he does not mind if he is alone
or with the others and he will take the
lead or follow behind on the trail. We
have used him primarily for pleasure
riding, playdays, and the fair. He will
do the patterns in a playday but he is
not a competitive speed event horse. He
is a big stout horse and his size
doesn't afford him a lot of speed or
quick turns. I wouldn't say he would be
ideal for a young child who is a
beginner because he needs a strong hand
to turn him however an older child or
adult beginner would be fine. He is
great for someone needing to build
confidence. He has had a lot of exposure
to the rodeo arena working cattle in the
past. He is easy to catch, loads great,
stands for grooming for hours, great
with farrier, we have owned him for 2
years and have had no problems with this
horse. He has no bad habits. He
prefers to take it slow but will lope
when asked. He is not the kind to take
off and we have never seen him buck or
rear. He is an easy keeper all year
long. The only reason we are selling is
bc our daughters are barrel racing and
have moved on to faster horses and I'm
not riding often enough to justify
keeping him. His bay roan color and his
large conformation really make him a
