Thunder is a 8 yr old homebred
Percheron/TB cross gelding, 16.3++. Very
handsome. Thunder is a Training level
packer, completing 7 trainings (to
date)with no x-c jump penalties/ always
makes the time. He is fancy on the flat
and is awesome over fences. He was MCTA
2008 Training Horse of the year an 2007
and Novice Horse of the year. Is
currently qualified for the 2009
Training 3-day and 2009 AEC's. Will be
moving up to Prelim in the fall.
Thunder is dead simple to ride and is
very suitable for an adult amateur.
Currently being ridden by a 51 year old
blacksmith:) Schooling 3'9" with ease.
While primarily a super star event
horse, he has also hunted happily in MD
and VA, pinned in 3' hunters at
Upperville (as a 4 yr old) and has shown
as a jumper and also trailrides.
Honestly, this is the sweetest, easiest,
most enjoyable horse you will ever ride.
