Portia is a lovely hunter mare with an
unbelievably quiet disposition. She is
uncomplicated and a pleasure to be
around both on the ground and under
saddle. Her kind and forgiving nature
make her a great match for any
junior/amateur rider.
Portia
was Reserve Baby Green Champion at her
first show under an amateur rider, and
has continued her success throughout the
show season. Her eye-catching movement
and fluid jump make her a judge’s
favourite. She would be a great match
for a junior/amateur rider looking to be
competitive in the show ring.
Her
sire Pik Kasso has produced the Grand
Champion Young Horse; Reserve Champion
Young Horse; 5 – 1st place, 6 2nd place,
and Reserve Provincial Champion Material
Horse at the CWHBA Breeders Show. This
is truly a record to be proud of! Pik
Kasso is also sire of the 2004 AHHS Year
End Champion Young Horse and the 2006
Reserve Baby Green Hunter AHHS Champion.
He passes on his great beauty,
correctness and athletic ability as well
as his easygoing and willing
temperament. Portia’s mother is
daughter of the famous Lucky Boy II, and
granddaughter to the world famous Dutch
stallion LUCKY BOY.
Portia is
currently in professional training and
will remain so until sold.
