Carmen is a 2006 Sorrel filly, By ACE O
LENA (Doc O Lena X Miss Paula San) out
of Rosa D Or ( Morris Trigger X Ventures
Tuff Tiny). Her Sire Ace O Lena was a
NCHA Money Earner, Her Dam was a Barrel
Horse Competed at the NFR in 1988. She
was started at 18 months old and wanted
to get her to the futurities, but she
was a late bloomer and so she was laid
off until she matured. She was used as a
trail horse and continued training but
not on a weekly basis. She has been on
cattle and is starting to work them but
she does need more time. She has been on
the flag. She side passes and has the
basic spin, she has a big motor and can
sit on her butt and stop. Carmen does
not buck and all she needs is time to
get a face on her. She likes to fight
the bit, but works in a loping
hackamore.
