Griff is an 11 year old 15.2hh grey
Thoroughbred mare. She was broke then
used as a broodmare until last fall. She
has got TONS of potential to be a nice
English Pleasure horse or possibly a
jumper. She's got very nice naturally
collected gates, and rides with her head
pretty level. She's never offered to
buck or rear. She enjoys having someone
mess with her and work her. Not spooky,
but is aware of her surroundings. I have
started doing a little bit of trail
riding on her, and she's doing well. She
is doing very well with loping figure
eights and figuring out where her lead
changes are supposed to be, she will
sometimes just whip out a flying lead
change right as you lift your rein to
start her the other direction. She would
make an excellent project for an older
kid who's experienced and wants to
finish a horse for Equestrian Team or 4H
or send her to a trainer for a month and
you'd have an amazing show horse. Griff
isn't your typical high strung
Throughbred. She's very laid back and
easy going, behaves much more like a
Quarter Horse, with some time on her,
she would probably be safe for a
beginner to ride in the arena.
