Bandi is a 6-year-old registered APHA
paint mare. She is broke, but still a
little green and has been ridden for the
past three years. Bandi is not ready to
be a kid’s horse yet. She has been
ridden Western with a couple of rides in
an English saddle. She knows her leads,
stops, backs, flexes, and lunges really
well in and out of the round pen. She
also loads in the trailer, stands for
the farrier, worms easy, stands tied and
in a bath rack, rides two-handed (but
knows a little neck reining and would
probably pick it up with practice), and
collects at all three gates. She has
mostly been ridden in an arena, but she
also likes trail rides and when I took
her to Mineral Wells State Park last
summer she did just fine. Bandi has also
competed in one pleasure show and has
been to Salt Creek Arena a couple of
times. When she was two, she had a baby
which she had no trouble with, so she
could be a brood mare if you wanted. I
am selling her for some college money
and because I going to college next
summer and can’t take her with me.
