Ace is a big, beautiful Love Sponge. My
daughter has ridden him huntseat - and
he has a big, rolling trot like a
warmblood! We suspect he'd make an
awesome Western Pleasure horse - she
started to learn this year and he's very
responsive - knows how to neck rein,
even side passes. She's tried trail
class with him - he's very calm about
everything, with a bit of practice,
would be great. Only thing that seems
to spook him is a whip (seems scared of
a lounge whip, but not ropes, etc. - we
suspect he was beaten in the past). He
was formerly a ranch horse out west - so
mud and water don't seem to bother him.
Gets along well with other horses.
Loves kids - is very gentle with them.
Selling him due to his stride is just
too big and powerful for my daughter
(she's only 11) and she's going back to
a smaller horse. Everyone notices him -
beautiful markings, very large build.
