Well bred, stocky framed mare with a
baby doll head. Experienced in trail,
show,lessons and breeding. Rides
english, western and bareback with some
training in dressage and jumping and as
a therapy horse. Schooled 2 years using
Clinton Anderson's methods with prior
owner. Ultra smooth gaits with the
sweetest little jog! Not spooky, safe to
work with on the ground or undersaddle.
Used to dogs, goats, cattle, children,
vehicles, etc. Typically a self-loader
for trailering, always easy to catch,
will ground tie, lunge, long line and
has ponied others down the roads and
trails.
Has not required shoes,
special care or feed, no known health or
soundness concerns. Will stall but is
usually on 24/7 turn out with
hay/pasture. Current on shots, coggins,
farrier and wormer.
Recent use
has been primarily on the trails in
groups or in the arena mostly walk/trot
with inexperienced riders in lessons.
She is a bit rusty with neck-reining and
sticky about taking the canter as she
hasn't done much of either in a while
but with a little polish she will make
an amazing show horse already having
done well in a few leadline, walk/trot
and pleasure classes in 2008. Will
consider selling her tack too if
interested.
We really enjoy this
mare but are moving and have to downsize
our herd immediately and are offering
her for thousands less than we paid to a
great home with the love and time she
deserves!
