Ranger is a red gelding and has been a
member of my family since 2003. Sadly, I
am having to sell him because of
financial reasons.
Ranger is not
registered, so I have used him as my
trail partner. However, his previous
owner used him as a hunting companion.
Ranger made annual trips to Canada for
hunting expeditions. This made him
virtually "spook-proof." He never spooks
at anything!
As mentioned
before, I use Ranger as a trail partner.
He has accompanied me on several
adventurous trail rides. One of my
favorite rides is in Tennesse; however,
I wouldn't be very comfortable riding
there without Ranger. The trails are
very narrow and they are all on the
sides of mountains. Usually, one is at
risk of falling about 100 feet if their
horse makes a mistake. Ranger is very
calm and collected, so that was never a
concern of mine. I am very confident in
him. I've even ridden him bareback on
the trail.
Ranger is a wonderful
horse for children and timid riders. He
listens to commands, and he never
"tests" his rider. Riding him is always
an enjoyable experience.
I hate
that I am having to sell him, but we are
doing so in hopes that he goes to a
magnificent new home and generous new
owners that spend lots of time with him
and give him plenty of love.
