Josey is a 6 year old registered
American Paint Horse Association
(breederstock)mare. She has been spayed
by the previous owner. Josey is mounted
police trained as well as experienced in
cowboy mounted shooting, bridleless and
bareback,parades, ridden on the beach,
mountains, trails, crosses water, safe
in traffic and also has performed
exhibition drill and tactical maneuver
rides in front of large audiences.Ridden
with flags, sensory training includes
flying flapping objects, bull whips,
sirens, tarps, she has been a super
awesome horse to train and her sensory
training is phenomenal. I have started
Josey in the lay-down, sit-up and bow as
well as a few other smaller tricks.
Josey is very responsive to your leg
cues, gives to pressure for side pass,
neck reins, clips, loades, bathes. She
also would make a super exhibition/high
school liberty horse as she listens to
hand and body cues free in the arena and
pasture even while other horses are
turned out with her. She is alpha in the
pasture, but completely submissive to
her handler and while schooling, working
and at play with her
handler/trainer/partner. Josey is for
