"Eddie" is a 2 year old gelding. I ride him bareback right now. He has been saddled with no trouble. I would say he would do fine with a 9 year old rider and up. He is easy to handle, gentle, and very pretty. My plans are to start him under harness soon. He follows me around like a puppy. No bad habits. Very healthy and loveable.
