"Rory" is a 2001 Grey TB mare standing
approx 16.1hh. She has probably one of
the sweetest personalities you'll find
on the ground and has had vets and
farriers comment on her ground
manners.
Rory is currently showing in
the 1.0m and 1.10m jumpers as well as
the 3'3" and 3'6" hunters and is always
in the ribbons. Absolutely no spook or
stop, will jump anything you put in
front of her and jump it with her
explosive jumping style. Easily makes
the lines, has auto changes with the
style for the hunter ring but still has
the scope and speed for the jumper
ring.
Recently competed in the 1.0m
and 1.10m jumpers at Spruce Meadows as a
last minute replacement for one of my
other horses... this was her first time
doing the 1.10m (and true to Spruce
Meadows form were set to maximum height)
and she took it all in
stride.
Requires a quiet, patient
rider as she can tend toward the hot
side, but with the right ride is an
absolute JOY to sit on. I'd keep her
for myself but I have too many horses
and not enough time!

*Update* Rory finished off
the season in 4th in the ASJA 5 star
Jr/Am Hunters (3'6") and has qualified
to attend the Royal Winter Fair as the
number one Amateur Owner Hunter in
Alberta. Buy her before the Royal and
take her yourself or wait until after
the Royal when her price will increase!
