Scooter is trained to ride, he has
spirit and would prefer to trot rather
than walk. He would be an ideal cart
horse however he does not have any
training for that, to my knowledge. We
did try a cart behind him, but he wasn't
sure what was expected of him so I don't
think he has been introduced to it
before. I have trail ridden him but he
is a little small for me. He is pretty
sturdy built. Beautiful flaxen mane and
tail, there is some black in his tail
also. He flags his tail when he runs,
looks just gorgeous. He would really
make a great horse for the right person.
We keep talking about getting him
trained for a cart but we haven't done
it and he mostly sits in the pasture and
looks good. He is friendly but nippy
(too many carrots) not a biter but he
will get his lips on you. Comes running
to the gate with his tail held up
whenever he sees you coming. Loves
attention. And carrots (did I mention
that already?)
Thanks for looking
:)
