Bailey would be such a fantastic project
for a Pony Clubber. He's by far the
most laid-back thoroughbred I've ever
worked with. He's very laid back both
on the ground and under saddle and he's
very affectionate and in-you-pocket
without being obnoxious. Always the
first of my horses to greet me in the
field.
His ground manners are
impeccable. He stands for the vet and
farrier, bathes without a problem (he
quite often just dozes off for baths),
clips and he'll stand tied (cross tied
or straight tied) all day.
Bailey
has really lovely gaits and his canter
would be excellent for cross-country.
He's not spooky at all (he's steadier
than my dad's quarter horse) and he'll
do absolutely anything for his
person.
Bailey's been started
over cross rails and is working nicely
on the bit. He responds well to a quiet
seat and soft hands.
Bailey is
for sale through no fault of his own, he
just has more potential than I'll ever
be able to tap into.
