El Coronel was the Hi-Point Andalusian
of show at the Eastern Regional
Andalusian show in Lexington, Va. in
2007. He competed successfully in such
events as Doma Vaquera, Dressage
Suitability, Halter, Showmanship,
Western Pleasure, English Pleasure,
Costume, Youth Equitation, and Sire of
Get. He currently has 4 fabulous foal
crops on the ground--the oldest are 4
year olds and include 2 Grand National
champions. He has won the Gold Medal
Movement Award with his elegant
movement. He has also been shown
successfully on the Triangle at Morven
Park and at Dressage at Devon.
Absolutely phenomenal stallion! He has
been healthy and sound and sells as
such. Good for farrier and travels
extremely well in the trailer. He is a
little hot, but easy to handle--this
makes for eye catching movment in the
arena! I have only done rail work with
him and I feel he is ready move up in
the dressage discipline with someone
with more knowledge then myself. He
would be excellent for high school
maneuvers--he is built uphill and has a
wonderful shoulder. Has done piaffe in
long lines as well as many lateral
movments. Excellent work ethic! I may
consider a trade for another
Andalusian--still considering this idea.
Colonel has been my buddy for the past 7
years and we have done much together but
I feel his talents are being wasted.
