Midnight is a Registered Tennessee
Walking Horse Mare. I have had "Midi"
for 3 years now, purchased from a friend
in my horse club, so she has had just
two homes. We logged in over 400 miles
on Ohio trails in 2007 and again in
2008. Quite a few miles in so far this
year as well. She ties on picket line,
camps, loads, bathes, easy to keep, has
good feet and stands great for the
farrier. She loves kids, but not
particularly dogs. She is up to date on
shots. I have never had any health
issues with her. Lovable type horse.
Midi is not a horse for a
beginner. She has lots of energy and
loves to go - I've finally realized I
need more "whoa"!! After the first .5
mile or so, she gets into her groove and
will go all day. She gaits good, but
will canter with those fast gaiters,
single foots, etc.
Only vice is
that she is a bit buddy sour with the
pony I have here at home. Being a trail
horse, she has always been ridden with
other horses.
