Duchess is a 13r old reg. Arabian mare.
She is well broke to ride for just about
anyone! She was used in a feedlot when
she was younger, done gymkhana, sorting,
been in the mountains and trail rides
along the ditches, Shes even been ridden
english and jumped a bit. She very alert
but not a spooky horse. Doesn't buck,
bolt or rear. She can be ridden bareback
with a halter pretty much anywhere. I'v
ridden her bareback with a halter next
to a busy hiway and in the field with
other horses running by and she behaves
very well! doesn't try to run off with
the other horses! She has a compact
build with excellent bone and big feet.
Hasn't been shod in the last 5 years.
She is good to trim,loads and hauls
well. Has been bathed and kept in a
stall( not real fond of a stall but will
tolerate it.) Shes a pleasure to ride
and she doesn't need to be ridden
everyday. In fact you could leave her
for a year, hop on and go for a ride and
she'll act as if she never had a day
off! She has been ridden by beginners to
advanced riders, but would reccomend her
for somone who has ridden a bit before
as she does have a fast walk and has
energy! She is an amazing horse with
tones of miles under her belt.She is
also very well bred being a grandughter
of Baharr on the top side and Ebony
Basser on the bottom! She should produce
some great working cow/reining foals.
But she has never had a foal. the ONLY
reason she is for sale is we need to
