May has a huge amount of potential in a
number of directions but needs someone
who can dedicate a lot of time to her.
Due to my time restrictions, her
training over the past year has been
very inconsistent, however with a little
work (not nearly as much as I would have
liked) we placed second in Novice at
Penny Oaks Horse Trials early this
summer and she did an amazing job. She
jumped double clear to finish on her
dressage score and that was her first
ever "rated" event.
May did have a
very successful career in the "A" hunter
circuit with her previous owner but I am
an eventer so have taken her more in
that direction. She is very good on the
ground but ideally needs to be in a
consistent routine to get the best out
of her. She is a seasoned show horse and
is really sensible at shows and new
places. Just needs a refresher course in
her training.
May is worth far
more than I am asking for her but I
can't stand to see her potential going
to waste because I do not have the time
to dedicate to her and I need the space
in my barn. She will only go to a home
with an experienced rider and handler
who can continue her training or she
could possibly be a potential broodmare
as she has excellent
bloodlines.
May is definitely
more than capable of going at least to
prelim with the right person. She is a
confident jumper and listens well. XC
obstacles have not created any problems,
ditches, water, etc.. Auto lead
changes.
She has had the past few
months off so price reflects the need to
sell her and certainly not the quality
of the horse.
Price is negotiable
to the right home as that is my main
priority.
Price: $ 7,000 (Negotiable)
