2001 Welsh/TB large pony gelding is a
natural athlete.
This dark bay
gelding tightly snaps knees up over
every jump with scope and style. The
love for his job is apparent with his
interested, pleasant expression at
all times both on the ground and under
saddle. He goes to work every day with
heart, drive and determination to
impress!
Loves a challenge!
Incredibly brave to the fences, likes
the scary jumps best. Will jump from any
distance! Loves new places,
on his
best behavior at the shows. Ships,
clips, loads like a dream. Game for
anything you throw at him- hacked all
over
the country side at Kentucky
Horse Park, even splashing in the creek!
Can take a joke- he's no stranger to
Halloween costumes and bareback rides!
Great personality, a real
pet!
Great to equitate on,
comfortable and smooth at all gaits.
Well balanced, shines in the hunters
over fences, has won the model on the
A-Circuit in Wellington, FL! Excellent
off the leg, solid lateral work, has
lead changes. Incredibly versatile,
great in medal classes! He turns on a
dime, rides the roll backs and bending
lines like he owns them! Well versed in
all USEF tests.
This pony has the
"it" factor. Featured on the cover of
the May/June 2008 issue of Equine Herald
Magazine, as well as a 2-page spread!
Additional magazine photo appearances in
2008 include Sidelines,
Horse
Connection, and Hunter & Sport Horse
Magazine.
In 2007, his first
year ever seeing a show ring, "Spryte"
was Year- End High Point Pony Hunter &
Year-End Pony Hunter Champion on the
local circuit. The following year,
qualified and competed respectably at
Pony Finals 2008 after only his third
rated show ever in the Green Pony
Hunters. Champion this past weekend in
the Large Pony Hunters at a SFHJA rated
show.
At his prime, recently
easily moved up to the regulars, he is
ready to take a new competitive rider to
the next level. Owner has sadly
outgrown and moved on to the jr's, and
cannot afford to board, train and show
multiple horses. Easily worth more, he
is priced very conservativey given the
current buyer's market. Open to
possible payments, etc...most important
is finding him a loving show home!
Price: $ 20,000
