Smokey is the perfect boy. He offers a
fun ride for both the beginner and
experienced western rider. He stands for
mounting, farrier, vet, bathes,
everything. He only eats 3qts a day,
2qts if on grass part time. Easy to
handle, he prefers to be on trails with
another horse but will go alone. You can
walk right up to him to gather him out
of the pasture for a ride, he does not
run or walk away from you. He comes
complete with tack, blanket, few extras.
Daughter has lost interest. He is the
perfect boy for husband, advanced
beginner child, I say advanced beginner
only because he is a very well built,
well put together horse with a good head
on him which may intimidate the beginner
child. UPDATE: Smokey is very sensitive
to the 'click/kiss' and kick method, he
prefers to move off leg cues. Must go to
