Crosby is a 9 year old quarter horse
gelding. He is not actively registered
but we have papers on him so he could be
registered with a new owner. He stands
15.3 hands high. He is sorrel with a
star and two white hind socks. He has
great ground manners and respects your
space. He stands quietly while being
saddled and is used to being tied up to
a trailer or in an arena for periods of
time. He loads great into a trailer and
rides well with no problems. Stands
great for the farrier and stands still
for vaccinations. He was recently
trimmed and is barefoot. He is up to
date on spring vaccinations and Coggins
is pending.
I bought him last
summer as a trail horse for my
girlfriend and as a roping prospect for
myself to train. He was green broke then
and could only walk and trot. Since then
he's been ridden three-four times/week
and has been trained on a lounge line.
He can walk, trot, canter and flex his
head/neck to both sides and give to the
bit. He's been ridden on the road,
through woods and fields. He's been
trailered to roping's and been worked in
an arena chasing steers. He's been in
the box and has been started on leaving
the box rating steers. As he has only
had a year of consistent training he
would need at least an intermediate
rider - no children.
Crosby is a
really good horse that has a lot of
forward momentum and a lot of potential.
We recently bought a new horse and don't
have room for him. He would probably
make a good show horse, possibly a
hunter or for western or a great trail
horse. We took him to the Ionia State
Park trails 4th of July weekend and he
did great on the trails. I am asking for
$1600 but that is negotiable. Please

or with any questions.
